Jennifer Jin is the Founder and Managing Partner of SVE Capital. She enjoys coaching and helping start-up companies by sharing her broad experience cross different industries including technology, pharmaceuticals, consulting, and banking, both in China and the US. Before founding SVE Capital, she was a corporate executive with a proven track record in Motorola, Intel, Novartis, and Standard Chartered Bank.  She was also a key founding member of two start-ups in China. She sits on the Board as the Vice Chairwoman of Pharmaceutical company SciClone, and serves as senior advisor to the Chairman of PE fund GL Capital. 

Haitao has extensive experience and deep knowledge in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining SVE Capital, Haitao served as an advisor to multiple venture capital firms in Silicon Valley, and in China.  Before joining the venture capital field, she was a group leader and principle investigator at Genentech, a US subsidiary of the Roche Group. She led research and development projects from inception to clinical development.  In collaboration with the business development department at Genentech, she evaluated hundreds of new technologies as acquisition targets.  Haitao moved to US at the age of 23 to pursue graduate studies.  She holds a Ph. D in Biochemistry from State University of New York at Stony Brook and trained as a postdoctoral fellow at Stanford University.  Throughout her career, Haitao authored numerous high-profile research papers and book chapters.
